LG Electronics (LG) has revealed its 2025 QNED evo lineup, showcasing remarkable technological advancements that promise to redefine home entertainment. The new QNED evo TVs integrate cutting-edge features, including proprietary wide color gamut technology, wireless 4K transmission with no delay or loss of quality, and AI-enhanced picture and sound processing. These features aim to elevate the viewing experience with unparalleled clarity, personalization, and convenience.
The 2025 QNED evo series is part of LG’s dual-track strategy, which also focuses on the company’s OLED models. By incorporating key innovations from its self-emissive OLED technology into the QNED evo lineup, LG brings a premium LCD experience with OLED-like enhancements. One of the standout advancements is the Dynamic QNED Color Solution, a new proprietary technology that replaces quantum dots, delivering colors that are as vivid and true to life as those seen in the real world. The upgraded color gamut, powered by this technology, ensures 100% color volume certification by Intertek, ensuring rich and accurate color reproduction.
LG’s True Wireless 4K technology, previously exclusive to its OLED evo M Series, has been expanded to the 2025 QNED evo lineup. This revolutionary feature allows users to enjoy 4K content without worrying about image quality degradation or delays. The wireless solution is facilitated by the Zero Connect Box, which transmits 4K video at 144Hz while maintaining the integrity of the original content. This groundbreaking wireless experience removes the limitations of traditional wired setups and minimizes screen disconnection. Moreover, the QNED evo models are AMD FreeSync Premium certified, delivering smooth and immersive gaming experiences.
The 2025 QNED evo models come equipped with LG’s α8 AI Processor, offering nearly a 70% performance boost compared to previous iterations. This AI-driven processor ensures superior picture and sound quality, with advanced upscaling, dynamic tone mapping, and optimized adjustments for a richer, more immersive experience. The AI capabilities extend to virtual 9.1.2 surround sound, converting 2-channel audio into a full, immersive soundscape. The new AI Magic Remote features a dedicated AI button, enhancing personalization by analyzing user preferences and recommending shows and apps based on their viewing habits. This level of personalization extends to webOS 25, LG’s smart TV platform, which includes AI-powered recommendations, five years of updates via the webOS Re: New Program, and hyper-personalized service enhancements.
In response to growing demand for larger TV sizes, LG now offers its QNED evo lineup in sizes ranging from 40 to 100 inches. The introduction of a 100-inch model caters to customers seeking ultra-large, premium LCD TVs for an even more immersive home theater experience.
