DigiPlus and BingoPlus Foundation Extend ₱37M Aid to Typhoon Kristine Victims
DigiPlus Interactive's social development arm, BingoPlus Foundation, has announced a significant relief effort to support families affected by Typhoon Kristine. The Foundation has committed ₱37 million in financial aid to help alleviate the suffering of those who lost loved ones and property due to the devastating typhoon.

The initiative will provide at least ₱250,000 to each of the 148 bereaved families nationwide. The first batch of aid was distributed on November 10, 2024, in Talisay, Batangas, with subsequent distributions planned for other affected areas.

First Lady Louise “Liza” Araneta-Marcos, DSWD Undersecretary Pinky Romualdez, DigiPlus Chairman Eusebio Tanco, and local government officials joined the distribution ceremony. The event highlighted the Foundation's commitment to helping Filipinos in times of need.
Typhoon Kristine, one of the most powerful typhoons to hit the Philippines this year, caused widespread destruction, particularly in South Luzon. The province of Batangas, especially Talisay, was severely impacted by landslides and flooding.

“The BingoPlus Foundation exists to provide more than financial aid; it's about creating hope, resilience, and real change,” said DigiPlus Interactive Chairman Eusebio Tanco. “This initiative is a testament to our commitment to giving back to the community and making a positive impact.”
In addition to the financial aid, the BingoPlus Foundation has also provided relief goods, such as rice and other essential supplies, to thousands of affected families. The Foundation has partnered with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and other organizations to ensure efficient and effective distribution of aid.

“The BingoPlus Foundation stands by our communities not only with aid but with resilience, unity, and hope,” said Tanco. “In moments like these, our commitment to making a difference is stronger than ever.”
Since its inception, the BingoPlus Foundation has been actively involved in various social development initiatives, including healthcare, education, and disaster relief. The Foundation's PLUS Centers, located in Negros, Cebu, and General Santos, provide essential services to local communities.

Through its continued efforts, the BingoPlus Foundation aims to empower Filipinos and build a brighter future for all.
