The Philippines embraces a new era of electric mobility with the arrival of the BYD Seal, the latest flagship electric vehicle from BYD. Unveiled at the 12th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit, the BYD Seal promises to redefine electric vehicle performance with its innovative features, premium amenities, and exhilarating driving experience.
Unleashing Electric Performance
The BYD Seal boasts a powerful dual-motor system delivering all-wheel drive and a combined output of 529 PS and 670 Nm of torque. This translates to a thrilling 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 3.8 seconds. The impressive 82.6 kWh Blade Battery provides a remarkable range of up to 580 km on a single charge, allowing for dynamic and long-distance journeys.
The BYD Seal incorporates several industry-first technologies. Cell-to-Body Technology integrates the Blade Battery pack into the car's structure, enhancing rigidity and handling. Intelligent Torque Adaption Control (iTAC) optimizes traction control for enhanced driving performance and safety. Frequency Selective Damping shock absorbers ensure a smooth and comfortable ride, even on uneven roads.
BYD's fastest-charging model yet, the Seal boasts 150 kWh DC charging capability, enabling rapid battery charging from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes. A wide-temperature range heat pump and a 12-Volt Lithium Iron Phosphate starter battery contribute to extended and enjoyable drives.
"The BYD Seal signifies a pivotal moment for BYD in the Philippines," says Bob Palanca, Managing Director of BYD Cars Philippines. "It's designed for drivers who crave speed, style, and comfort, without compromising on performance."

Measuring 4,800 mm in length, the Seal offers a spacious cabin with ample legroom and a practical 50-liter front storage and 400-liter trunk capacity.
The interior features a sophisticated black colorway with race-inspired suede accents. Power-adjustable sports seats, panoramic glass roof, and a driver seat memory function elevate the driving experience. Two prominent digital displays – a 10.25-inch instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch rotating infotainment system – provide a balance of style and technology. Advanced features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Dynaudio 12-speaker sound system, dual wireless chargers, and wireless 4G connectivity for over-the-air software updates.
Prioritizing Safety
The BYD Seal prioritizes safety with 8 airbags and the DiPilot Advanced Driver Assistance System.
