Ladies and gentlemen, this might be it! One of the best OLED laptops available in the market and it doesn't just look amazing but it performs really nicely as well! Let me tell you more about it.
Design
The looks of this are just sleek and cool. It's obviously tough and I just love the whole metal body design. The logo tab design that is raised gives that nice youthful urban vibe. Available in Solar Silver, Sand Grey, and Midnight Black.
A very expressive design has some really nice stripe accents on the Enter key which is a really cool touch! It's also thin at 17.99mm, light, and is possible to have a 180-degree Hinge. If you can also notice, the ESC key is colored in Warning Orange and I just love that touch.
The ASUS Vivobook S 14X has all the I/O ports you need to connect displays and other peripherals. It has HDMI 2.0 (support 4K display), two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C with External display support and superfast data transfers, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A and an Audio combo jack.
Performance
Powered by up to a 12th Gen Intel Core i7, this laptop definitely makes every task easier. It can definitely handle multitasking. Whether it's just casually browsing, photo and video editing, or using it as the main laptop for business, the CPU of this laptop is definitely fueled to perform fast.
Running on Windows 11 Pro, the ASUS Vivobook S 14X OLED has the ASUS IceCool thermal technology. This uses upgraded 8mm and 6 mm heat pice and IceBlade fan that accelerates heat transfer. Lighter and thinner compared to ordinary fans, this gives a quieter, less vibration, and bottom line, can operate with no throttling!
The display is Pantone validated and definitely shows the Best-in-class colors. I mean this has up to 1.07 Billion colors compared to the 16.7 million colors of the standard LCD. It peaks brightness is up to 600 nits and True Black 600 certified.
So you can enjoy your graphic works, video edits, games, and your favorite movie/TV series in the beautiful OLED screen. On whatever you'd need the display's color gamut can be quickly and easily switched for different tasks or preferences. It has that ultravivid native color setting but for web content creation, viewing, and browsing, you'd go for sRGB. For cinema content, you can change into Cinema color standard for DCI-P3, or Display P3 for movie grade colors that is finessed to fit viewing it in the real world.
