Huawei y5p was launched a few weeks ago and I've been using it ever since. You can check out our unboxing and impression of the device right here.
Priced at P 4,490 one should not expect much, but knowing Huawei, they would always exceed expectations even on a budget and entry-level phone. Like the Face-Unlock feature is not something we would expect on a budget phone. What's interesting also to know that that the Huawei Y5P is powered by the Mediatek MT6762R. An Octa-core processor (4 x Cortex-A53 2Ghz + 4 x Cortex - A53 1.5 GHz.) Which runs on EMUI based on Android 10.
I was able to run games like Asphalt 9, Mobile Legends, PUBG Mobile, and COD mobile on the Huawei Y5p, and it ran okay. The phone is not designed for gaming but it got the job done. Yes, there were some minimal frame drops but you can still score those kills and rank on top.
It's also nice that the speakers are moved in front of the phone to achieve better gaming & entertainment experience. There were no heating issues and the Huawei EMUI interface was so nice to use. If you haven't watched it, here's our in-depth review of the Huawei Y5P.

Huawei Petal Search Widget - This is a new app search tool of Huawei which is a Gateway to a million of apps. Searching on the tool gives us choices of Apps images, news, and others. It's a browser but so much more. Petal Search also provides results from AppGallery and other third-party website making it easier for users to get their preferred app.
Here's how you can get the Petal Search Tool - Go to AppGallery (it comes pre-installed with your Huawei Device) Search for "Petal Search" on AppGallery and install it. You can also install the Petal Search App as a widget right at the home screen to make it easier for you to get what you need.
