Netflix Updates their Parental Controls and more

Netflix has just improved its parental control features. The owner of the account would be able to check viewing activity, adjust user level and control in its shows for every user. Starting April 8, 2020, members can now add a PIN protect on individual profiles to prevent kids from using them. Parents can tailor the kids' Netflix experience by filtering out titles that are not appropriate for their age. They built the filters using the country's ratings so it's more intuitive.
Account-holders can remove individual series or films by title. When the filter is used, the blocked shows/movies won't show up anywhere in that profile which I think is a good added feature. Customize each profile to each member of the family for a safer viewing. You can access and adjust each profile's settings using the “Profile and Parental Controls” hub within account settings. This may be accessed via the browser, on your phone or laptop/computer. The account owner can also see what their kids have been watching within the profile created for them and also turn autoplay of episodes in kids' profiles.

I personally think that this is a nice improvement on the profile controls. Every family is different and these added parental controls will definitely help in assuring that their kids are watching shows meant for their age.

Netflix continues to invest in a wide variety of kids and family films and TV shows from all over the world - including award-winning animated films like Klaus, series such as Mighty Little Bheem and interactive shows like Carmen Sandiego: To Steal or Not to Steal.
