Designed for the way we connect today, Samsung introduces the Galaxy A50 and A30 during their launch last March 13, 2019, at Green Sun, Makati. Digital has evolved so fast that people also wanted to be connected, fast!. People are sharing, capturing and consuming content live, and these devices that we hold in our hands need to keep up with our lifestyle, habits, and demands.
The A Series targets mid-range consumers with the release of their Galaxy A50 and A30. A big improvement from their previous A Series. Giving focus on the device features, improved battery, and a better camera.
Galaxy A50
The first thing you'll notice here is the triple camera setup which is intended to mimic human eyesight. It includes a 25MP main camera for taking clear photos even in low light with f/1.7 aperture enabling clear shots; an 8MP Ultra Wide camera to capture the wider view and a 5MP Live Focus camera creating bokeh images. It can capture 123 degree wide shots!
The front camera also has a 25MP camera and is made better using Selfie Focus to subtlely blur background details.
Improved battery life with 4,000 mAh and fast charging technology using Type-C. The 2019 A Series also sports the all-new Infinity U display offering a 6.4" AMOLED screen for vivid colors. One thing that's also amazing here is that in this category, they were able to squeeze in an on-screen fingerprint scanner providing intuitive unlocking without changing grip.
It also comes in a comfortable slim design and smooth curved shape and is available in three color options, Black, White, and Blue inspired by scattered light.
Galaxy A30
Is a much more affordable entry-level in this year's A Series. It also has the 4,000mAh fast-charging battery. Same edge-to-edge 6.4 Super AMOLED screen similar to the Galaxy A50.
The A30 also includes advances camera features such as dual-camera, including an Ultra Wide0angle lens. Its fingerprint unlocking feature is not on-screen but at the read. Don't worry because they have an intuitive Face Unlock.
The Galaxy A50 and A30 will be available starting March 30, 2019, with suggested retail price of Php 17,990 and Php 13,990, respectively.
From March 16-29, consumers can pre-order the new Galaxy A50 through authorized Samsung stores nationwide and online partners, Argomall, Lazada, Memo Express, and Shopee. All pre-orders come with a free JBL Go 2 speaker worth P 2,299, a mini tripod worth Php 1,499 and a 10,00mAh battery pack worth Php 1,299. Meanwhile, customers who purchase the Galaxy A30 from March 30-31 can also get a free JBL Go 2 Speaker.
