To make the shopping experience more exciting, Lazada included a feature where you can invite your friends to "Slash It!", allowing you to lower the price of a product through referral link sent to friends to slash the price. There's also the "Shake It!" where you can snag additional discounts by shaking your mobile phone at designated time slots.
During the launch, they also announced their partnership with UNICEF allowing online shoppers to support the welfare of Filipino children. In time for Christmas, UNICEF will have an online shop at Lazada from November 11 to December 31, 2018 where inspired gifts such as backpacks, hygiene kits, and emergency supplies can be donated to children all over the country. These are life-saving and life-changing items which address real needs of children.
