New car? No license plate? Don’t fret because Snickers is giving away free temporary license plates to car owners on April 23 at the Capitol Commons Carpark.
The event is the launch of Snickers Don’t Drive Hungry Initiative, a road safety initiative reminding drivers not to let themselves get hungry while they’re on the road.
Long hours spent in traffic can lead to hunger, which can negatively affect the mood of a driver and the quality of driving; by giving out free temporary license plates, Snickers wants to remind motorists not to drive hungry.
To pre-register, drivers can visit http://dontdrivehungry.com.ph/, fill in their personal details and upload their car’s conduction sticker. An email will be sent to confirm their application and they can then claim their temporary license plate at the event venue on April 23.
They can also bring their car’s official receipt and certificate of registration from the Land Transportation Office and present it at the event venue for on the spot temporary license plate printing.
