St. Lukes Medical Center Launched Mobile App MedConnect

Just recently, St. Luke's Medical Center launched its first mobile app named St. Luke's MedConnect. MedConnect, an easy-to-use mobile application giving the public easier access to the world-class hospital's healthcare services through features that can request a doctor's appointment. Imagine being able to book appointment right at your finger tips and on your smartphone. 

Patrons may also access laboratory results, reserve a room, pay online, schedule executive checkups and read important information and announcement on their mobile smartphones.

Kay Abad (L) host for the event introduced Dr. Arturo S. dela Peña who is the Head of Medical Practice Group and Medical Director of St. Luke's-Global City. Dr. dela Peña shared how convenient and fast it would be for the doctors and also to the customers when using the app in securing an appointment and check-ups. It will save time and effort on both parties.

Ms.Marilen Tronqued-Lagniton who is the SVP and Head of Marketing led the initiative and saw the need and the solution in improving the health care process in the hospitals.

Ms. Tronqued-Lagniton shared that it can be an advantage having the St. Luke's MedConnect app on your mobile smartphone or tablet device because it will connect you to St. Luke's anytime, anywhere.

MedConnect App, potential users should go to the Apple Appstore or Google play and type in St. Luke's Medical Center and follow the installation instructions.

Is the app free for download?

- The St. Luke's MedConnect app is APPsolutely free.

What else can the St. Lukes MedConnect offer?

- There's a list of doctors in the St. Luke's directory, book appointments, access your St. Luke's eHealth results, some Wellness Ceter Pacakges, St. Luke's emergency care numbers and health tips!

What is the difference of the app and the website?
- The app has Health tips and quick info on the Executive check-up. Soon there will be more features on mobile and even payment will be available.

Is the app free to use?

- Charges will depend on the standard rates of the network carriers

Is there a charge when calling the emergency number?

- Standard carrier call rates will apply.
