Playboy Apparel Philippines Pop-Up Store.

Playboy Apparel Philippines launched a pop-up store in the middle of the Mall of Asia Atrium on their 60th Anniversary for three days last September 5-7. During the launch, there was a mini-fashion show featuring the latest 2014 collection from Playboy Apparel Philippines which was hosted by the beautiful Erika Padilla.

The Playboy Apparel Philippines collection was a wide mix of camouflage jackets, hardware, jeans, khakis, and other casual wear. But the highlight that night was AJ Dimarucot’s exclusive designs. It was a collaboration with graphic artist AJ Dimarucot on the limited edition shirt and pique line. Also, there were 8 personalized Playboy Bunny heads with artworks which was designed by AJ as well displayed at the Pop-up store.

Invited guests and mall goers that day got to play the spinning wheel with winning prizes include up to 50% discount coupons on Playboy Apparel, body spray, and loot bags. Guests were encouraged to take selfies while at the store and upload them on their Instagram accounts using the hashtag #PlayboyTurns60. It is printed and displayed at the InstaPrint Wall. Those who uploaded were able to take the photos home as a souvenirs.

AJ Dimarucot’s designs for Playboy Apparel Philippines are geared towards local tastes and a younger generation of style-savvy Playboy fans. Being on of the generation's emerging artists, Playboy Apparel has decided to do a collaboration in celebration of Playboy's 60th anniversary. Right now, the brand is holding different collaborations with different artists and brands globally to come up with fresh designs for the iconic brand.

 

According to the license owners of the Playboy Apparel brand in Manila, they’re looking forward to a more creative and successful year ahead. They’ll be expanding their men’s fashion line in the other SM stores nationwide. Aside from men’s apparel, the owners intend to introduce the Playboy men’s underwear line within the next year followed by the women’s lingerie and apparel line in the near future.

I'm really happy to see that Playboy Apparel is improving their line. They are becoming more and more fashionable and stylish. Looking forward to the amazing collection that they will be releasing soon! :)
