I personally love staycations. I love staying indoors, spending time with love ones and, unhealthy as it may be, indulging on yummy food while watching all the DVDs available. Now, spending the entire weekend in a fabulous hotel and be able to do all of that? Heaven!
Immediately after instagram-ing all corners of the room (the usual protocol now), I excitedly jumped on the bed and turned on the TV. The thing that I will never forget is that this hotel has the most comfortable bed I have ever laid on so far!
It was so comfortable that I was willing to skip dinner and just stay there ‘til the next morning! However, after a few hours, my tummy fought against this idea and started to growl in hunger.
To my happiness, we were invited to feast at SEASONS (formerly CafĂ© Coquilla) and seeing the buffet had me panicking. I didn’t know where to start!
The buffet offered so many dishes to choose from. Normally, I don’t eat much for dinner but I thought it would be a sin not to try everything. The PG in me loaded my plate with a little bit of everything! Haha!
The Waterfront Manila Pavilion is perfect to have staycations at because there is no reason to leave the hotel. You will find a variety of concessionaire shops, even medical and dental services in the same building.
Apart from Seasons, a line-up of great food and beverage places are also offered: Pattisserie. Boulvar and the Poolside Terrace. After binging on so much food, you can also work on losing all the excess calories at the well- equipped gym or relax at the Embassy Spa.
Breakfast the next day was also superb! We were fed to death! Not complaining though. I was so sure we were leaving the hotel a few pounds heavier.
After finishing brekky, we went back to our room determined to enjoy our last few hours on our comfy bed. It was so hard to get up and leave! Well, we can’t stay there forever (we will if given the choice) but I promised myself to go back to the Waterfront Manila Pavilion whenever I crave for a good staycation.
Special thanks to the staff of Manila Pavillion and to Mr. Ferdie Bondoy.
