The Philippine Quill Awards 2013 now accepting entries


Promises to be bigger, brighter and sharper than ever, this year's Quill will be something to remember. Focused on recognizing extraordinary work, this year the Quill expands  to 4 divisions and 42 categories! This way interested parties will have an easier and more exciting time finding where the communication work entries can truly shine with the recognition it deserves.

The 4 divisions, communication management, communication research, communication skills and communication education and training. A first two new division this 30th anniversary of IABC is the communication research and education, and communication training covering both internal and external training.
In every division, a Top Awards will be conferred on the entry with the highest score earned from the judges. IABC Philippines urges everyone from the country's top corporations, communication agencies, and government institutions from small-to medium-sized companies, non government organizations and schools to join and to prepare as early as now for this year's Quill.

Last year's Top Quill Award  in communication was awarded to SMART communication for its Project Visa; Top Award in Communication Skills to ABS CBN Corporation for the DZMM.com.ph website; Top Award in Communication Creative to Stratworks and Unilever Philippines for their AXE End of the World Survival Kit: and the Student Quill Top Award to De La Salle University's "The Lasallian Facebook"


Having the Philippine Student Quill Awards also give a chance for students to shine not just in the classroom. This part of the Quill Awards gathers the best works of students nationwide which they produces for their class, for a club, a volunteer association, an internship, and other non-commercial activities in a student capacity. All entries are evaluated using professional industry standards.

IABC Philippines will also hold seminars for those who are gunning for the Company of the Year, Agency of the Year or School of the Year.


The seminar is conducted by the International Association of Business Communication (IABC) Philippines, this will guide participants on how to prepare a winning entry in the Philippine Quill Awards.

The "Go for Excellence: How to Win a Quill" seminar will be on July 19 (Friday) at the Unilab Bayanihan Center, room BCD, in Pasig City.

The Philippine Quill is also deemed as the best preparation for the Gold Quill Awards, which is organized annually by the San Francisco-based IABC. Network of 15,000 business communication professionals in over 80 countries.
