Will Smith and Jaden Smith star in Columbia Pictures' new futuristic action-adventure “After Earth” from director M. Night Shyamalan. I gotta say that this looks promising. A nice come-back movie of Will Smith after the... well.. MIB3... and an awesome movie for Will Smith's son Jaden. He looks a lot older here and has a better role than the Karate Kid movie he starred with Jackie Chan. I'm feeling postive that this movie will be a good one and I expect that the acting of the father-son tandem would be as their The Pursuit of Happyness in 2006.
Here's the trailer...
In the film, a crash landing leaves teenager Kitai Raige (Jaden Smith) and his legendary father Cypher (Will Smith) stranded on Earth, 1,000 years after cataclysmic events forced humanity’s escape. With Cypher critically injured, Kitai must embark on a perilous journey to signal for help, facing uncharted terrain, evolved animal species that now rule the planet, and an unstoppable alien creature that escaped during the crash. Father and son must learn to work together and trust one another if they want any chance of returning home.
"After Earth" opens across the Philippines on June 7, 2013.
The movie is distributed by Columbia Pictures, local office of Sony Pictures Releasing International. Visit http://www.columbiapictures.com.ph for trailers, exclusive content and free downloads. Like us at www.Facebook.com/ColumbiaPicturesPH and join our fan contests.
