In "Turbo" movie, racing has been the dream of Theo (voiced by Reynolds). No, we are not talking about cars, and Theo is a snail. Yeah, a snail racer makes him the oddest in the slow and cautions community where he belongs. But in one fateful day, Theo aka Turbo embarks on a speedy journey after finding himself on a rundown strip mall where he meets street-smart snails.
The movie stars the voices of Ryan Reynolds, Paul Giamatti, Snoop Dogg, Maya Rudolph, Ben Schwartz and Samuel L. Jackson. Showing in theaters worldwide on July 19, this original concept is from the filmmaker David Soren. Get this, the inspiration came when he combined the fascination of his son with race cars and the ongoing infestation of snails on their lawn. Now how's that for inspiration? Turbo the movie will take us for a high-octane journey and will change how we look at the traditional notion of moving at a snail's pace. :)
