The ladies are back! Yes, Resorts World Manila just presented their candidates for this year's Ms. Resorts World manila.
Now, what makes this different from other competitions? Well, not so much really. But this time, Resorts World Manila aimed at making its annual search a lot better by incorporating Pinoy fashion. (adding a bit of modeling factor) Which I think is a nice move. Finding the one true embodiment of a Filipina and to represent Resorts World Manila's vision for elegance and hospitality is there.
Meet some of the models below.
After going through lots of training in personality development, a couple of photoshoot styled by Pam Quinones, and shot by renowned fashion photograpger Mark Nicdao. There was also a modelling workshop conducted by international model and former VJ, Joey Mead, that was last October. This month of November, the finalists will go through a series of Fashion, Styling and Talent Shows. All of the 20 candidates will be busy towards the finale or should I say Final Runway on November 23 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater.
Get this guys, the candidates will compete in an illustrious lingerie brand Fashion Show-inspired Final Runway. (Let me stop you there, read that again and tell me you don't want to watch this.) where they will be showcasing opuses from Cebu Designers' Guild headed by Cebu's fashion icon, Philip Rodriguez.
Also competing for the title is the Filipino-American Katarina Martinez who will represent the beautiful island of Guam. Resorts World Manila was one of the sponsors of the recent Miss Earth Guam pageant where Katarina was among the 18 hopefuls and because of her Filipino heritage she was awarded as Ms. Resorts World Manila - Guam.
