Night runners!!! Adobo Run After Dark is back! The annual anticipated running event that happened not in the morning but at 6:30 PM in the evening. This Halloween themed annual run is a concept of the country's premier advertising and brand communications publication. adobo Magazine. The Adobo Run After Dark has become the magazine's trademark.
Friends from adobo Magazine invite me for the press event of the Adobo Run After Dark and I happily obliged. Guests were treated with some snacks and a couple of beers. There were also some games and prizes also.
Last year, they were able to put up a great event and this year, they are eyeing 5,000 runners on the night of October 20, 2012 which will take place at the complex of SM Mall of Asia.
What's fun about this is that runners are encouraged to wear their creepiest and craziest Halloween costumes! Well of course there are cash prizes at stake for the best in costume.
You think that's fun? well, this particular run promises a unique experience to runners. Live music, fireworks display and wait for it..... free flowing beers!!! Now after burning lets say a couple of calories that you just took before the run, here comes the beer.... and I bet... You will not resist it. :)
Check out some pictures of the previous Adobo Run After Dark I grabbed from google. (and I take no credit from these pictures)
