UNIQLO Pre-Opening Party Coverage.

The Mall of Asia main Atrium was packed! big stage, lots of food and cocktails. What was the fuss all about? Well, it was Uniqlo's Pre-opening party.

The hosts introduced Mr. Tadashi Yanai, Chairman, President & CEO, Fast Retailing Co. who welcomed the people who attend the Pre-Opening party. He shared that he is happy with the partnership of SM and Uniqlo in bringing it here in the Philippines.

Ms. Tessie Coson also shared on how excited she is finally having the first Uniqlo store in the Philippines and shared the plans to open more Uniqlo store in other SM Malls.

The Uniqlo executives were then joined in by three of the Filipino Uniqlo cast, Chris Tiu, Iza Calzado and Chito Miranda (minus Nikki Gil) for one their traditions in opening a Uniqlo store. Where they all smash some kind of a barrel with Sake inside and they all "Kampay" to take a shot of it. 

The crown then and the rest of the mall goers stopped and headed to the atrium the moment they heard Parokya Ni Edgar played.

I wasn't able to attend the 5pm tour inside the store so I was anxious to go shopping. The schedule said that once the program is finished, we will be the first one to shop on the Uniqlo store and I was excited! I went around and took a few shots of the happy-anxious people around. I also spotted some celebrities joining in on the event.

And of course with Mr. Hans Sy. (Because I just had to.)

UE chorale shared a couple of glee-like song numbers in Uniqlo shirts and a few moments after that, we can shop already! :)

After the performance and a few photo ops with the endorsers, we headed up to the 2nd flr. and there we see this long line of people waiting to get in, then they rolled the door up. :)

Feast your eyes to the first UNIQLO store in the Philippines. It really is enormous in size. Get this, a1,550 square meters of space. I tell you, the place was huge!!! It is like a department store I tell ya.

Celebrities are also going around to shop! :)

It holds a wide selection of high quality and functional apparel for men, women and kids at really affordable prices.

You can see that they have 10 counters here ready to accommodate the bulk crowd. :)

Special opening price of P 590 on most of the items like shirt, pants, shorts. :) This price will not last long. So I suggest you go and go after it while you can!

One of the items that I particularly liked is the Quick-dry fabric crewneck, v-neck and tank top. Its so simple and fits well. But the thing that really good about this is that it costs only P 290. :) Hows that for a shirt. :)

Certainly, UNIQLO is MADE FOR ALL. Their first store certainly ensured that there is one for everyone. I just can't wait to go back there on Friday and finally purchase the items using the voucher they gave me. I'm going back there because I intend to be one of the first buyer of their items in their store opening on June 15, Friday. :)
