TOSHIBA definitely lived up to its tagline “Leading Innovation”. I experienced it first hand during the event where they launched the glasses-free 3D TV and the lightest notebook, to top that, they also introduced its new brand ambassador for the Philippines, Ms. Solenn Heussaff.
For the TVs, Toshiba unveiled the new line-up of state-of-the-art TV, breaking through with the 55-inch REGZA RZ1. This is the very first large-screen glasses-free 3D TV to be launched in the Philippines.
The REGZA RZ1 is equipped with a Quad Full HD screen. It provides viewers with a totally immersive 3D TV experience and can also deliver 2D content with four times (quad) Full HD resolution.
For the PCs, Toshiba also revealed its new generation Z series Ultrabook™, the PortĂ©gĂ© Z930.

Weighing only 1.12kg1, the PortĂ©gĂ© Z930 is not only the world’s lightest 13.3-inch Ultrabook™ ever; it also combines the ease-of-use and performance of a laptop with the wake-up responsiveness of a tablet.
Only 15.9mm high, this new Ultrabook™ features a slim design with a durable magnesium alloy chassis; a battery life of up to 8 hours; and all the power and fast, easy connectivity of a comprehensive selection of full-sized ports.
