FILA RUN to Raise Fund for School Rooms

Fila has always been one of the top in my mind when it comes to shoes. There was a phase in me that the brand name stuck with me also because of their endorser before Ms. Donita Rose. Fila now have bigger endorsers with Borgy Manotoc, Georgina Wilson and Tim Yap, better shoe designs, innovation, quality and value.

I recently attended an event of Fila at their newly designed store in Robinsons Galleria. The event is about the big advocacy run by FILA together with Athletes in Action (AIA) with one main reason. HELP RAISE FUNDS for the rehabilitation of Classrooms in Iligan City. Which was badly hit by typhoon Sendong which happened in 2011. 

The event was hosted by Tim Yap, who is also one of their endorsers. As share by Coach Toti Andes, 15,000 runners have already signed up and counting and Different student-runner from colleges and universities will also be joining the run.

Even though school has started already, the effort and the cause can never be more timely than now. 

Just a few background on FILA, since 1911, FILA traces its roots from Biella, a province set at the foot of the Italian Alps.
